Visit request sent · practice confirms the time
Agents can talk to patients. They can’t reach the practice.
Patients ask ChatGPT more than 300 million health questions a week. Specialty care still runs on phones, faxes and directories nobody updates, so the conversation ends with a phone number.
In our September 2026 benchmark of 1,513 practices across 72 metros, AI could not find, evaluate or book a specialty practice 84% of the time.
- Directory data is wrong half the time
- No way to check coverage or intake rules
- Every booking ends in phone tag
01 · Find
The patient asks. Your agent finds the right practice.
Search by specialty, condition, procedure and location, over data that comes from the practice itself, not a scraped directory.
02 · Match
Coverage and fit, checked before anyone picks up a phone
Insurance accepted, treatments offered and intake rules come back with every result, so a navigator or payer sends the patient where they can actually be seen.
03 · Book
A visit request the practice receives and confirms
Your agent sends the request through Tely. It lands with the practice team like any new patient, and the outcome comes back to you.

Everyone who sends patients to specialists
AI assistants and health apps
Patients ask where to go. The answer should end in a request, not a phone number.
Payers and insurers
Members need an in-network specialist who can see them, from data that is right.
Care navigation
Navigators match patients by hand on directories where half the listings are wrong.
Referring providers
A third of referred patients never see the specialist. Referrals need a destination that answers.
Employers and benefits
Specialty benefits promise faster access. Someone has to reach the practice.
Telehealth
Virtual care hands patients to in-person specialists every day.
Questions partners ask
Where does the practice data come from?
From the practices themselves. Practices work with Tely to get patients, so treatments, insurance, intake rules and booking steps are set up with them and corrected every time a patient books.
How does an agent connect?
Each practice publishes an A2A agent card and WebMCP tools on its website, and one Tely API searches across practices, checks fit and sends requests. We walk you through the endpoints on a call.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Tely signs business associate agreements with practices, and a request carries only what the visit needs. Nothing is sent to a practice unless the patient asks for it.
Which specialties are covered?
Specialty care across surgical, medical, dental and aesthetic practices, from orthopedics and ophthalmology to fertility and pain management. The list grows with every practice that joins.
How is it priced?
A platform license plus usage, depending on your volume and use case. Tell us what you are building and we will send a proposal.
